American cars burn the fuel just like drinking the water! And the size is always ridiculous. When you drive an American car, just like driving a huge boat on the road. If is on the road among the mountain, please prepare the bag for everybody first, it will be useful! Beside, 5.7 liter only generate 355 hp? It's really bad! BMW M3 can have 333hp by 3.2 liter. Honda S2000 have 240hp, only 2.0 liter!!! So 5.7 liter, 355hp is just ok! Not good, really! The best looking car in the world, in my opinion, absolutely is Ferrari! It's artistry! Not only looks good!

美國畢竟是汽車工業大國,舉凡製造,維修,改裝全世界拘視為標竿.沒錯,歐洲有許多具有藝術價值ㄉ經典名作,但是一談到汽車ㄉ性能,我們不能否認美國ㄉ勁車,畢竟它們經過太多競爭所存留下來ㄉ,直線加速賽,美國分太多等級ㄌ,若要幹上最頂級ㄉTop Fuel!!連 AMG, RUF,無限等眾所皆知ㄉ改裝名廠均須知難而退,根據Discovery頻道ㄉ介紹,Top Fuel 0—400mm前三名在4.7-4.9sec,加速度是9個G,通過末速404mph(約646.4km/n)駕駛者必須帶著小型氧氣桶,各位網友能看看該頻道ㄉ介紹,而量產車而言,美國ㄉLingenfelter所改裝ㄉ雪弗蘭’’快廷’’擁有650匹馬力,而且CO控制在0.1%,HC再69ppm以下,符合加州3期環保規格,但這對其他世界各地ㄉ勁車而言,要維持馬力又要兼顧環保是不可能達到ㄉ.在日本2000年世界汽車圖鑑中,除ㄌIsdera改裝ㄉ勁車620匹可比擬外,法拉力和林保堅尼也只能當藝術品而已.因為不要以為1公升排汽量可輸出130匹馬力便昭告全世界(S2000),而美國ㄉ車子卻8公升只能輸出400匹馬力而覺ㄉ很糟,想想看,2.0公升260匹能有多少上升空間,8公升在美國手中卻能提升到2000匹以上ㄉ超暴力ㄉ馬力(Ｔｏｐ Ｆｕｅｌ車以５．７或６．７升等引擎，ＯＨＶ式擁有６０００匹馬力ㄋ！！)所以希望大家深思，本國ㄉ雜誌介紹ㄉ大部分都是日本車，或是一些名車，看來看去都是渦輪車，如果網友懂ㄉ外語，可買些外國ㄉ來看，保證不一樣，ＨＫＳ０－４００ｍｍ７．７９秒，大家都覺ㄉ好快，那他們為何不公佈那台鳥車為世界第一ㄋ！！因為他們知道人外有人，車外有車！！！（（我不是奉承美國多好，而是探討他們ㄉ科技這麼先進，為何我們總是敢不上））！！

I don't think it's fair to compare two steams(Jap & USA) of different concepts. We cannot deny the fact that American car makers "use to be" the leader in the automobile field, neither you can deny the fact that others car makers have cought up. I think the concept of the Japanese is to maximize the engine, so instead of a 6L engine, they use a 3.2L to acheive the same power output and the engine is also environment-friendly. If all Jap car makers make cars with huge engines, what difference dose it make to other car makers? So please dont say stuff like "honda sucks" before you understand their idea.

我們不能否認美國ㄉ汽車工業. 但是換一個角度來看, 日本ㄉ汽車工業也有它ㄉ特色. 用最小, 最輕, 最省油, 最環保, 又有力量ㄉ引擎去搏美國車ㄉ大. 就是因為這樣, 日本車才有它ㄉ特色可言. 要不然也只是"日製美國車". 且不論直線賽, 為什麼F1ㄉ第一名不是美國引擎?? 為什麼日本車在美國賣ㄉ那麼好?? 如果只是直線ㄉ話, F-16 就可以贏吧? 我並不是諷刺你, 只是日美歐ㄉ造車立場不同. 而且日本晚了西方一步開始, 但是看看現在, 全世界都有日本車. 其實在我ㄉ觀點, 日本是以一國之力, 搏全世界車廠, 其成就我不能否認.

hmmmmmm我想重點是美國車的規格無法通過台灣的環保標準，排氣像火力發電廠，吃油像喝水。台灣空氣已經很差了。。。再來兩台corvette或trams am簡直不能呼吸了(ps.trans am is the heaviest peice of machine rolling around eh...).還好現在流行的suv在台灣找不到車位,不然要變的像LA了.

對了...我真正不能了解的是drag到底好玩在哪裡...no turn,no skill ,just some huge machines on four wheels(i sound a little bitchie...sorryu.有點激動抱歉啦)...就算不是drag...trans am 和camero那種車到了高轉速不是就不行了嗎?歐洲車雖起步較慢但因該可以打敗美國怪獸吧

不容否認的，美國的確是個汽車大國，這是因為在早期汽車工業開始萌芽之時，美國地區有此需要（因為地廣人稀），而使汽車工業開始迅速發展。而現今美國的汽車工業，也是基於他們的需求和條件，所培養的用車文化而發展起來的。我會提出這一點是因為美國車再怎麼好，如果不適合台灣的用車文化，再怎麼賣也賣不好。舉例而言（雖然不是絕對的）：
美國當地汽油便宜，所以不需考慮省油性；
經常需要長途行駛，所以注重舒適性；
他們認為人命很值錢（尤其是美國人的命），所以早期美國車都做的像坦克車一樣；
對他們而言，車輛是日常用品，但是在台灣卻是奢侈品；
美國的土地面積大，道路也寬，不用注重車輛的靈活性；
美國人有”美國時間”－太閒了，不用考量到移動迅速的機能；
......
以上所列不過列舉概，要我想說明的是，即使美國車再怎麼好，他們的用車環境和台灣迥然不同，設計生產的車子在台灣自然不受歡迎。
以上淺見，還請各位不吝指教。

I can't understand that there is non of them has been shown in Taiwan.
Cars such like Trans am V8 355 hp with 5.7 liter or viper with v10 engine......They car fastest car in the straight line or drag race..they are the best car with the best looking shap in the world.
