Marca newspaper, saying Spa Honda will bring 15hp with the mods in TC and MGU-K (rumours spoke about new camshaft too, piston,..).
And in last part of Championship, They will bring another step of 40hp after JapanGP securily, to put in pair with Renault.
Furthermore, the post-summer package is not the only one on Honda's schedule this season as a potential 40 BHP extra is planned for the autumn as the internal combustion engine (ICE) gets an upgrade, although it's expected to come after the Japanese Grand Prix on October 8.
That should put McLaren alongside the Renault powered cars in terms of sheer pace, but still 40 BHP behind the Mercedes and Ferrari units. And with the French manufacturer perhaps, the only legitimate alternative to McLaren's current supplier Honda may be able to save their skin and remain in F1 after all.
